Electric Fireplace Heater: 400V 2500W Halogen Infrared with R7s Base
We built this electric fireplace heater to be a straight-swap heat source for industrial fireplaces and heavy-duty comfort heating. It’s compact, intense, and made to get hot fast—then stay steady—without taking up a ton of space.
Power, voltage, and size—kept simple
It runs at 2500W on a 400V circuit. That higher voltage is a practical win on industrial setups because it keeps the current lower, which helps reduce voltage drop over longer cable runs. The tube is 300mm long, so all that wattage is focused into a small radiating area. You get serious heat density without needing a big housing.
What’s inside—and why it stays consistent
The quartz envelope holds a halogen element, and the halogen cycle helps keep output stable by fighting blackening over time. A reflector coating is built in to push infrared energy forward, so more of it lands right where you need it—inside the fireplace cavity. And the R7s base? It’s an industry-standard fit that gives you a solid mount and a reliable electrical connection. Wiring it up is straightforward, and ignition stays consistent.
Where it shines—and what to watch for
This setup is built for applications where fast heat-up matters: electric fireplaces, space heaters, and comfort heating in commercial spaces. The response is quick, and the output is predictable. But here’s the reality: 2500W at 400V means it runs hot. Plan your cooling and clearances properly, or you’ll risk cooking nearby components.
